Who Am I?
I've always wanted to escape the 9 to 5 and when I was 24 I met a stuntman who had worked on the James Bond films. I was so inspired by this I decided to pursue the dream of becoming a stuntman! After all, what better way to escape 9 to 5 than to find your dream job, right?!
So I set about doing the required training to become a certified stunt performer in the UK. This required a number of skills to instructor level. I trained in trampolining, swimming, fencing martial arts, rock climbing and SCUBA diving.
In 2002 I joined the BSR - (The British Stunt Register) and have since worked on multiple films and television programs over the years. Here's my IMDB page.
It wasn't until much later that I started looking for other incomes streams. The stunt work was fairly sporadic and despite me finding my "dream job", I couldn't rely on a steady income from it.
By the time I was approaching 40 I realised I was "stuck" - waiting for stunt jobs and "filling" in with other, low paid work. It wasn't the dream after all! So I started looking for other ways to make money - searching and researching ways to earn an income online.
In 2014 I found an online business community. They helped me build an online business from scratch - selling affiliate products. With the help of mentors and coaches, I was able to start generating income online consistently.
This didn't happen overnight and I had to learn some new skills. But I was so determined to make it happen that I worked relentlessly at it, attending meetings and following the step by step tutorials.
An online income allows you to build a business around your lifestyle, rather than a lifestyle around your job! Once you learn how to make a single sale online, you can repeat it over and over again. Because an online income can be automated, it means you can work from anywhere from a laptop.
