With low ticket affiliate stuff, you only earn peanuts. So it’s much more difficult to get any traction. Imagine you’re only making 3% on an affiliate sale and you pick something like a book to sell on Amazon! That’s what I was doing! It’s crazy when I look back. But you don’t know what you don’t know. I was simply trying to make my first sale, using any and all means. I didn’t crunch the numbers. 3% on a high ticket product, worth hundreds of thousands is something else. But I simply didn’t know to go for these items.
With a high ticket sale, you’ve got more leverage in terms of scale and in terms of advertising budget. When you go for selling low value items, it’s difficult to get the practice and experience of using paid marketing because the profit margin is so tight. With a high ticket item, you can afford to spend more as you learn the ropes. Once you have a profitable campaign, it’s also easier to increase the budget slowly and scale up.
Most affiliates quit and the business model has something like a 97% drop out rate. By using high ticket affiliate marketing products, ideally within a funnel, you can get more traction more quickly, and with less risk. Access the free video series here to learn more.
High Ticket Affiliate Marketing For Beginners
A high ticket physical product pays you only once. Whereas if you have a funnel with multiple products in it, such as business training products, you can earn more from each customer. A high ticket funnel should have multiple products to sell including:
- Entry level product – a low cost basic course, for example
- A membership product – giving you more value, training and perhaps interaction with other members
- A mid-ticket offer – a higher value product with more in-depth training/done for you systems
- A high-ticket offer – a super high value product including all of the above.
With a sales funnel like this which includes multiple products and points of sale, you can make the most from affiliate marketing. This kind of product range caters for everyone who has a strong intent to build an online business, for example. Not everyone has the intention (or money) to buy a high ticket course. But you can also offer them a cheaper and still valuable offering to help them.

The other thing which stops affiliate succeeding is mindset. Now I was a little sceptical of this at the time, and because of this I struggled for longer than I needed. But everyone’s journey is different. If you’re business minded and have a strong background in business, you’re generally going to be ahead of others trying the same thing. My background wasn’t business, and so I struggled with some of the mindsets needed to build a larger sustainable online business. With a community of like-minded people, it’s a huge help. Don’t even think of going it alone if you have no understanding of business! This, I believe is the bedrock of why I eventually managed to start earning from affiliate marketing, rather than just wasting my time!

Follow the step by step instructions and within a few days you can have a high ticket sales funnel up and running. You’ll then need to focus on a marketing strategy. I suggest using a paid one, since organic marketing is rather long and difficult, and results aren’t guaranteed. So unless you’re particularly good a content creation, and even if you are, you can easily be drowned out in the noise.
Paid marketing is fast and stable, but you’ll need a marketing budget you can stick to consistently. Good luck!
